The National Educational Support Trust, USA, called NEST, is a nonprofit organization committed to serving teachers and students with the most up to date research based language and literacy materials. Our projects reach classrooms worldwide through the use of onsite volunteers and a web based curriculum delivery system called WordScientists.org, designed to scale up our success on a global scale.
WordScientists.org is a culmination of over 15 years of scientific literacy research into curriculum and activities for teachers, students and parents.

We don’t just provide lesson plans and free books for any classroom—we train teachers so our efforts have true impact, year after year.
Founded in 2011 by Mary McKenna, she has been joined by a dynamic operational team. They are supported by an advisory board who are leaders in the fields of education and language development.
