Khmer Magic Music Bus
The Khmer Magic Music Bus project brings live music to rural Cambodia after years of conflict threatened to wipe out their local culture altogether. The founders located several local musicians who had hid their talents, or even themselves, and gathered them and their students onto a bus for a tour of the rural villages, whose residents hadn’t heard live music for decades. During an initial fundraiser, they required designs for their founding backer prizes. Three concepts for a logo, poster, and t-shirt were selected by the client and presented to the backers, who chose the rendition at left. www.magicmusicbus.org Completed as an employee of DKA.
